GDUFS Held the 2022 Teachers’Day Award Ceremony

North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, September 13^th, 2022: On September 8^th, the 2022 teachers’ day ward eremony of  GDUFS was held in Yunshan Hall on north campus. SHI Youqi, University President and Secretary of GDUFS Party Committee, gave a report and offered sincere thanks to university faculty and congratulations to award winners. Hosted by LIU Haichun, Vice President of the University, a total number of 650 attendees, including school leaders, teaching staff, and retired faculty attended the meeting.

SHI Youqi reviewed the achievements the university has obtained over the last year. The included seven important aspects were: the Construction of the Party, Cultivation of Talents, Scientific Research, Social Services, Talent Growth, International Communication and Interior Administration. Vice President JIAO Fangtai announced major projects and awards for teaching practice and scientific research to award-winning groups and individuals.

SHI Youqi awarded certificates to honor achievements related to poverty alleviation in Guangdong Province. He also awarded those who had been chosen as university instructor of the year and model of  “Following the Examples of Lei Feng ” campaign in Guangdong. School Leaders awarded silk banners to advanced groups in the University and certificates of honor to representatives of outstanding international teachers. SHI Youqi also awarded certificates of honor to representatives of retired faculty from September 1^st 2021 to August 31^th 2022.
