President of CIUTI Congratulates GDUFS' Joining in CIUTI

Sep. 15th- On the afternoon of September 13th, Mrs. Hannelore Lee-Jahnke, President of CIUTI (Conf閞ence Internationale permanente d'Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interpr鑤es), visited GDUFS along with CIUTI

General Secretary Mr. Martin Forstner. President Zhong welcomed them at the Guest Hall on the North Campus.

Mrs. Hannelore expressed her joy about visiting GDUFS and congratulated GDUFS for becoming a member of CIUTI. She talked about the remarkable achievement that GDUFS has made in translation and interpretation. What's more, President Zhong is actually a star in China's Translation field with his original accomplishments. She expected GDUFS to make more contributions now that it has joined CIUTI.

President Zhong briefly introduced the key focus and outlook of GDUFS' Schoolof Interpretingand Translation Studies. He also posed an attitude of intense research in interpreting and translation studies so as to make contributions to CIUTI as well as self attainment. After, representatives of CIUTI made the conferment on GDUFS and gave a lecture in the Library Hall.
