President Zhong Visits South-east Asian Universities

November 19th - During 6th to 12th, President Zhong Weihe visited famous universities in South-east Asia.

 

On the morning of 7th, President Zhong had a meeting with President Run Wenqing of Hanoi University of Humanities Social Sciences. They were all glad to witness the achievement between the two schools and showed a great expectation for further cooperation. After the meeting, President Zhong had a short talk with the exchange students and encouraged them to cherish the precious opportunity to study abroad.

On the afternoon of 8th, President Zhong was invited by China's ambassador Mr. Kong Xuanyou in Vietnam to give a brief introduction about GDUFS. Mr. Kong briefed on the latest development of Sino-Vietnam relationship and pointed out that GDUFS has a crucial role to play in the future due to its location and characteristics.

 

 

Sending each other gifts

 

On the afternoon of 9th, President Zhong visited the officers from Indonesia Language Department of the Ministry of Education. Both sides expressed a wish for the further education cooperation in the field of politics, economy, language and culture. Later, they also negotiated the details on the project of training postgraduates.

 

On the morning of 10th, the President of Sanata Dharma University Weieryuenuo met President Zhong. He stated that it was a historical moment to memorize, for GDUFS was the first university which had a firm cooperation with Sanata Dharma.

 

On the morning of 11th, President Zhong signed an agreement with Luomate Wahabo, the President of Yagyakarta National University delivered a speech on internationalization of education under the background of economic globalization, which received a high level of reputation.
