Chinese Cultural Week was celebrated in the Confucius Institute in Peru

A variety of other activities, including calligraphy demonstrations, music performances and book as well as picture exhibitions also took place. In front of the Chinese food stall, a constant stream of visitors tried the Chinese cuisine and spoke highly of the taste.

During the following days of the Chinese Cultural Week, the Confucius Institute had arranged three lectures on topics of interest. The teachers of the institute will present a comprehensive overview about many aspects of China in Spanish, including the history, culture and education system of China, Chinese geography, folk culture, as well as the economic and social development of high interest to the students at the university. The lectures have attracted numerous people and the audiences have raised various questions with great enthusiasm. They say that, after listening to the lectures, they felt and expressed their strong desire to have a better understanding about China and its culture.
