Located in the popular tourist resort location of Bali, the Jembatan Budaya School has established a complete system from preschool to two-year junior college education levels. The school currently serves more than 1400 students with about 200 teaching and administrative staff.  Fourteen of the Chinese teachers in the school are from China and 20 of them are of Chinese heritage but of Indonesian nationality. Generally, the Chinese teachers recruited by the Confucius Institute Headquarters, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Province or the partner universities of JB School, are required to be recognized by the Confucius Institute.
