Visit of University Language Center of University of Buenos Aires to GDUFS

On September 11th, representatives of the University Language Center of University of Buenos Aries visited GDUFS. Attendees at the convention were FANG Fanquan-Vice President of GDUFS; CAI Hong-Director of the International Office of GDUFS; Roberto Villarruel-President of the ULC, and ZHAO Hui-Director of the China Office of ULC. Cooperation of Spanish will be built in the near future.

At the convention, Mr. Villarruel said, “Learning foreign languages is an effective way to know the world. If Spanish learners from GDUFS come here to study, they will have a better understanding of Latin-American countries.” The ULC expressed their strong desire to establish cooperation of Spanish between the two universities. Vice-President FANG also hoped that active cooperation would be increased soon. He asked for more details of the credit systems of ULC.

When the meeting came to a close, both sides exchanged gifts. The valuable gift from the ULC was Yerba Mate, a kind of traditional Latin tea, representing close friendship.
