Having studied in China for years, Guo Moruo was awarded a scholarship by the Chinese government for his great effort. Not only did he make lots of close friends, he also fell in love with Chinese culture gradually. Better yet, he encountered the love of his life and later they get married. Recently, when hearing about a serious epidemic outbreak in China, he was deeply concerned about the situation. No matter how far, Guo tried his best to bring as many as possible local masks to China, without any expectation in return.
Having received the Certificate of Honor and money award for his great contributions to the outbreak, Guo felt recognition and a sense of belonging in China. Emotional excitement sprang up in his eyes when he was asked his future plans. “My wife and I are going to teach Chinese together and the materials have already been prepared. Next, we will inform our students, get the classrooms ready, and then we can start teaching! We hope everything goes well!” said Guo Moruo.
