North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, November 8th 2019: Yang Yi, the Secretary General of the China Institute of International Studies, led a special foreign delegation to visit GDUFS. SUI Guangjun, Chairman of the University Board and He Chuantian, Vice President of GDUFS, met the guests in the VIP hall of administrative building, North campus. Two sides had an in-depth conversation on further cooperation.

SUI introduced the history of GDUFS and summarized the university’s foreign language and entrepreneurship initiatives. With Guangdong Institute for International Strategies (GIIS) being the sponsor, GDUFS has been making greater efforts to establish high-end think tanks and hosting forums of at the national- and province-level to conform with the needs of the country and district areas based on vigorous foreign trade in Guangzhou. He also talked briefly about previous International Think Tank Forums of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road over the years, then invited representatives to join the Fifth International Think Tank Forum of the 21st century of Maritime Silk Road to strengthen further cooperation with the China Institute of International Studies.
YANG provided information about the China Institute of International Studies, showing the expectations of having more communication and collaboration with GDUFS.
