Former Deputy Vice Chancellor of UCLan Visited GDUFS

North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, November 10th 2019: Angela murphy, Former Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Central Lancashire, visited GDUFS. SHI Youqi, President of GDUFS, and Chen Linhan, Vice president of GDUFS, met the guests in the meeting room of the Administration Building. The two sides had a discussion on how to strengthen friendship and promote exchange and cooperation between the two universities.

SHI extended a warm welcome to the guests, and looked back on the history of exchange and cooperation between the two universities. He said that UCLan has a long history, and the two universities have maintained a good foundation of cooperation for a long time. He expected that in the future the two universities would carry out a plan of all-round and in-depth cooperation to provide better learning conditions for teachers and students of the two universities. He hoped that the two universities could have a everlasting friendship and create better prospects for cooperation together.

 

Murphy replied that years of friendly exchange and cooperation between the two universities had produced fruitful results, which could not have been achieved without the joint effort and mutual respect of both sides. She hoped that the two sides could value sincere friendship, and then make greater contributions for further cooperation and development of the two universities.
