Citizen Delegation from Frankfurt, Germany Visits GDUFS

North Campus, November 23^th 2018: the Citizen Delegation from Frankfurt, Germany visited GDUFS. YANG Aimin, Vice President of GDUFS met the guests at the VIP Hall in the Administration Building. They exchanged views on urban culture and other topics.

YANG Aimin welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the basic information of GDUFS. He pointed out that, during the thirty years Frankfurt has cooperated with Guangzhou, the Citizen Delegation from Frankfurt has visited GDUFS many times, which not only bridged the friendship between Frankfurt and Guangzhou, but also created many exchange opportunities for students and teachers who major in German. And he hoped that this visit could promote deeper exchange and cooperation in more areas.

Klaus Peter Möbius, Head of the Delegation from Frankfurt, appreciated the hospitality of GDUFS. He said that since the delegation’s first visit to GDUFS in 1993, the relations between the two have been getting closer. As a sister city of Guangzhou, there are many Chinese living in Frankfurt now; also many Frankfurt youth are learning Chinese. He hoped that this visit could further enhance the exchanges between Frankfurt and GDUFS.
