The Study of Arts at GDUFS has been Approved

Recently, the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced the results of the 2015 Project of Art Theory of National Social Science Fund. The project of Rock Painting Language and Aesthetic Quality of Badain Jaran Desert, applied for by the Professor Wang Yuhong of the Center for Foreign Literature and Culture at GDUFS, was approved as a key program. It is the first time that GDUFS has succeeded in the review of Project of Art Theory of National Social Science Fund. It is the only key project of Art Theory of National Social Science Fund in Province in 2015, as well as the third national project achieved by the Center for Foreign Literature and Culture this year.

The Project of Art Theory of National Social Science Fund aims to promote the construction of China’s current culture and art, to pursue the development of frontiers of discipline, and to launch and finance the research of art and science at a state level. As is one of the top-level art and science research projects in China, its application has always been highlighted by universities and research institutes. Competitions have been fierce for the increasing number of applications. They must go through a series of procedures:declaration acceptance, communication, evaluation and online publicity review. There are 184 established projects with seven major items, 112 general items, 49 youth items and 16 western China items.
