Six Teachers in GDUFS Receive Grants from the NSFC

Recently, the 2015 NSFC examination results of applied projects has been announced. Six applicants from GDUFS, namely JIANG Shengyi, ZHAN Qiuhui, LI Qing, HE Xian, YANG Jing, XIE Jun, were selected to receive NSFC funding for their applied programs including 4 general programs and 2 science foundation for youth programs. With the funding amount of 2,495,000 RMB, the stake rate is slightly above the average.

In 2015, project application proposals have been submitted to NSFC by 26 teachers of GDUFS from the School of Finance, School of Economics & Trade, The Cisco School of Information, School of Accounting, School of Police and Public Administration, School of Business, Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies, the Lab for Language Engineering and Computing, Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Research Center for Trade and Economics and the Center for Cantonese Merchant Research.

Since the preparation of the applications, experts have been well organized to guide the applicants. Greater efforts should be made to areas such as promoting the quality of the research and qualifications of the applicants in hope of having more NSFC grant holders in GDUFS.
