At the end of the contest, Professor Wang Guizhen congratulated the students on their improvement of pronunciation and intonation. She also pointed out that some contestants of the personal reading part still had some small problems. For example, they failed to make a clear distinction between the pronunciation of letters "l" and "n". She then taught the students some useful skills. Moreover, Professor Wang emphasized that speaking English is a process of communication and advised, "If you want to be good at speaking, you need to take great pains to practice it."
