Zhong Weihe Visited Universities in Macao to Strengthen Cooperation in Portuguese Education

Nov 10th__From November 6th to 7th, GDUFS President Zhong Weihe led a delegation to visit Macao Polytechnic Institute and City University of Macau on invitation. President Zhong also attended the 2nd Forum of Portuguese-speaking Countries and Regional Higher Education Management held by Macao Polytechnic Institute.
On the morning of November 6th, President Zhong attended the opening ceremony for the Forum of Portuguese-speaking Countries and Regional Higher Education Management as well as the founding ceremony for the Portuguese Teaching and Research Center at Macao Polytechnic Institute.Over hundreds of leaders of colleges and universities, officials in educational institutions,experts and scholars from such countries as Angola, Brazil and Portugal met together to discuss the management trend and the future of higher education.
On the afternoon of November 6th , President Zhong visited City University of Macau and received a warm welcome from President Yan Zexian. They discussed the establishment of interscholastic cooperation and shared the hope that by making use of respective advantages, the two universities will develop some relevant programs through their joint efforts.

On the morning of November 7th , Macao Polytechnic Institute held a simple but solemn book donation ceremony for GDUFS.In order to support the development of Portuguese education at GDUFS. Macao Polytechnic Institute donated many books from overseas about Portuguese teaching and research which will greatly enrich the library resources about Portuguese at GDUFS.
