International Forum on Psychological Education for University Students opened at GDUFS

Nov.7th--The second International Forum on Psychological Education for University Students opened on the North Campus of GDUFS. The theme of the forum was the Innovation of College Students Psychological Guidance and Consultation. This was the second time that GDUFS hosted the forum since 2009. Fourteen reports and eight meetings were scheduled over three days with experts from Guangdong, Hong Kong, the U.S, the UK in attendance where they voiced their guidance and suggestions.

 

 

The Opening Ceremony of the Forum

 

The opening ceremony began with a speech given by Sui Guangjun, Secretary of the Party Committee at GDUFS. He briefly introduced the basic situation of psychological education at our university and then delivered his gratitude for all the efforts made by the staff of the Psychology Department at GDUFS. Finally, he expressed his pleasure in holding this forum again.

At the end, researcher Robert Shaw from New Zealand gave his affirmative credit to the organization of this forum and he shared his thoughts that the essence of this forum was friendship, that is to say, researchers from different nations can exchange their views on a well-established stage like this so that cooperations can be enhanced and friendships can be fostered.
