18th CPC National Congress Opens

Nov. 8^th--The 18^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) convened in Beijing on Nov. 8^th. The National Congress of the CPC meets every 5 years and will last seven days. The agenda includes examination of the work reports submitted by the CPC Central Committee and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, deliberations of the amendment to the CPC Constitution and the election of new party leaders. There are a total of 2,325 delegates including specially invited delegates to the 18th National Congress of the CPC.
