Consul-General of Consulate General of the Republic of India in Guangzhou Visited GDUFS

On the afternoon of June 11th, the Consul-General of the Consulate General Republic of India Consulate in Guangzhou Indra Mani PANDY and Education Consul Dhiraj MUKHIA visited GDUFS. Both parties signed a cooperation agreement concerning the dispatching of foreign instructors of GDUFS to India. President Zhong Weihe, Vice President Fang Fanquan and other officials attended the meeting.

President Zhong Weihe extended a warm welcome to the guests. He stated that this year GDUFS will start the new Hindi language program in September with the first enrollment of 20 students. As the Consulate General of the Republic of India in Guangzhou has been concerned with GDUFS, President Zhong said that GDUFS will offer firm help and strong support in dispatching foreign instructors over the next five years.
As the only university with Hindi language major in Southeast China, GDUFS will make contributions to the development of Sino-India relations. Mr.Pandy expressed his sincere thanks and stated that the Consulate General of the Republic of India in Guangzhou will continually support the development of Hindi language programs and promote the exchange program between GDUFS and Indian universities. The meeting concluded with the signing up of the cooperation of agreement.
