Symposium on GDUFS Internationalized Education Held on North Campus

June 18^th--Today Mrs. Zhang Xiuqin, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, together with other officials from the Ministry of Education visited GDUFS north campus where they attended a Symposium held by CCP Secretary Sui Guanjun and President Zhong Weihe. The Symposium focused on what GDUFS has achieved in the internationalization of education as well as the blueprint for further development in future years. Mrs. Zhang Xiuqin expressed her profound admiration for GDUFS's achievement in internationalized education and also exchanged ideas with researchers and teachers from different departments.

In acknowledgement of GDUFS's academic competence in regional and national studies, the Canadian Studies Center of GDUFS is promoted as one of the Regional and National Studies Bases of the Ministry of Education. A ceremony to mark the establishment of the base was held after the symposium.
