The Beer Museum

The Zhujiang Party Pier Beer Culture and Art Zone is located on the riverbank of Yuejiang Road West, Pazhou, which is based at the Zhujiang-Inbev International Beer Museum.

You can take either the bus or tram to arrive there. The tram is a good choice because of its artistic design and environmental-friendly work. Inside the tram, there are scores of patterns and prints on the wall. Between the seats, there are also many books, which allow passengers to have a delightful reading time on the tram.

The Beer Museum has three floors in total. The main exhibits are on the second floor. From the origin of beer to the modern beer corporations, this museum includes almost every thing you can imagine about beer. In addition, almost every exhibit has an explanation both in Chinese and English. Thus, it is very convenient for foreign people to understand the items better and easier.

Different from the traditional museum, the Beer Museum has evolved a lot and contains a lot of innovative ideas in terms of displaying exhibits. It uses statues and sculptures to make vivid images for visitors. There is also a big map hanging on the wall, which is made by bottle caps. Besides that, you can experience the feeling of being drunk in the Marvelous Terrace in the museum. It is a room with a slope. After you enter this room, the signals from your body contradict one another, hence you will feel really dizzy. Finally, games in the museum allow visitors to get closer to the knowledge of beer.

There are also a few drawbacks about the Beer Museum. For instance, the game machine in the museum is broken and doesn’t work. And the button of another machine can’t be successfully pressed. We hope that these problems can be solved in the near future and bring a better experience for visitors.

After the visit, you can get a free drink of premium beer with your ticket. It has a better taste compared with the normal beer we can buy in shops. It is less bitter and has a stronger flavor of the barley.
