South China Business College Funds GDUFS For Stadium Construction

On September 16th, the donation ceremony for South China Business College’s (SCBC) funding of the construction of a stadium at GDUFS was held in the VIP Hall of the Administration Building on the North Campus. President ZHONG Weihe and Vice President HE Chuantian gave a warm welcome to the guests: Vice President of SCBC, LAI Zhili and YANG Yongqiang, and the Office Director FU Hongxin.

President ZHONG Weihe congratulated SCBC on its achievements on discipline construction, faculty construction and talent training. In addition, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude for SCBC’s funding on the athletic equipment and infrastructure at GDUFS. He hoped GDUFS and SCBC could have a successful planning arrangement in terms of campus construction, so as to achieve mutual development in the next five years or even fifty years.

LAI Zhili expressed gratitude for GDUFS’s support on the development of SCBC over the last ten years, and congratulated GDUFS on its 50th anniversary. He also hoped their donation could be a good example for alumni and other enterprises, prompting further development of GDUFS. SCBC will continue to make efforts to develop into a university with one-hundred-year history.
