The Film-- An Autumn Wind --Shared at Yunshan Hall

On March 9th, 2015, the recently released film, An Autumn Wind, was brought to Yunshan Hall of GDUFS by the director, Rain Lee, and the protagonists, LIN Chi-ling, Richard and GUAN Xueying, and shared with hundreds of GDUFS students.

At 2:30 pm, ZHONG Weihe, the President of GDUFS, welcomed the film crew warmly in the VIP lounge of Yunshan Hall, presenting four sets of baseball uniforms to them, which were designed for the GDUFS 50th anniversary. On hearing that 2015 is the GDUFS 50th anniversary, the guests felt so surprised, presented their best wishes and immediately donned the gift attire to take a picture with President Zhong.

The 107-minute film began at 3:00 pm, telling a poignant but romantic love story, in which an elegant lady came to New York to chase her dream, and during her period there, she had to decide her real love, deciding between a Chinese and an American. Almost all students were moved by the sorrowful plot.

The film crew shared interesting things about the movie

When the film ended, the director and protagonists came onstage with loud applause and cheers to share hordes of interesting experiences while making An Autumn Wind. Interaction with students is an indispensable part. Too, During the interview, some students seized opportunities to play amusing games with the crew, while others exchanged their own understanding with the director, Rain Lee. A female postgraduate from another province said that, to realize her dream in Guangzhou, a totally strange city for her, was really challenging. Rain Lee nodded but she encouraged all people including the female postgraduate to chase valuable dreams with much determination as well as bravery.

In the end, the crew of An Autumn Wind posed for a big picture with 1,800 students. Meanwhile, they encouraged the students, affectionately, to keep moving in spite of all the different challenges they will encounter. With special emphasis, LIN Chi-lin repeated her famous lines with her sweet voice--Work hard! Work hard!
