Global Talents Training Discussed on Undergraduate Teaching Seminar

October 28 - The second session of the GDUFS 4^th undergraduate teaching seminar was held on the north campus last week. Hosted by Mr. Liu Jianda, GDUFS Vice President, the meeting was attended by CPC Secretary Mr. Sui Guangjun, GDUFS President Mr. Zhong Wei He, directors and leaders of faculties and functions, as well as teacher representatives and other staff.

At the meeting, Mr. Sui Guangjun delivered a speech entitled International Strategy and Global Talents. He first had a review on the goal of building GDUFS as the global talents training base of Southeast China and the guidelines of undergraduate teaching in GDUFS that had been raised in the first session of the seminar. He then pointed out the changes and challenges the university confronting and the importance of global talent training. As Mr. Sui Guangjun teaching and researching.

Mr. Sui Guangjun said that GDUFS is committed to cultivate talents with international competitive edge and social responsibility. In order to fulfil the goal, the University should make great effort to develop its undergraduate education. He also mentioned that it is also important to train students with high moral and psychological quality while putting an emphasis on global vision education.
