Mexican Consul General in Guangzhou Visit GDUFS

President Zhong began with a warm greeting and a brief introduction of GDUFS. He then extended his appreciation towards our guests for their support and assistance. Delegations from Consulate General of Mexico in Guangzhou have visited GDUFS for several times in the past few years, and have brought GDUFS books from Latin America, which served as essential material for both GDUFS teachers and students in the research on Latino culture. The lectures and activities organized by the Consulate have also been of great meaning.

Mr. David Rivas appreciated for the warm greeting. He pointed out that though China and Mexico are relatively distant, this does not prevent these two countries from becoming close friends, and in this friendship-cultivating process, books can serve as one of the best approach. The Consulate will continue to organize not only similar activities, but also more communicating opportunities on new platforms, such as Weibo, in order to promote the friendship between students from China and Mexico.
