President ZHONG Weihe meeting with Graham Baldwin
Meeting with Graham Baldwin, President ZHONG pointed out that GDUFS is one of the four pilot universities in Guangdong Province to be granted a greater degree of autonomy in terms of international development. In recent years, our school has been engaged in new and extended cooperation agreements with numerous overseas universities, including UCLan.
UCLan was founded in 1828, and is one of the top universities in Britain. Early in 1992, GDUFS established communications links with UCLan and, since then, exchanges between the two institutions including scholars and students of the two schools have been frequent. In July, 2001, a 2+1 joint-program was launched which includes International Business, International Business Communications and International Business and International Journalism programs. Later, in 2006, the two schools established an additional cooperative program; a Masters Program in Intercultural Business Communications.
