GDUFS Signs Cooperation Contract with University of Szczecin

On the afternoon of April 17th, the signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between GDUFS and the University of Szczecin was held on the north campus. The main leaders present were Eward Verdasco, the President of University of Szczecin, SUI Guangjun, the Secretary of the Party Committee and FANG Fanquan, Vice President of GDUFS. Additionally, the following people were also present: CAI Hong, the Chief of the Department of International Cooperation and Communication, YANG Ke, the President of the College of Western Languages, MAO Yinhui, the Director of the Faculty of Polish, a Polish teacher and students from the faculty of the Polish language.

During the conversation, Sui said both China and Poland grew with difficulties, similar history gave us common memories, which are the historical and emotional basis for the cooperation between China and Poland. Although Polish language study was not established for a long time, it plays an important role in the cooperation between GDUFS and University of Szczecin and the development of talents in Guangdong Province. Verdasco said that the University of Szczecin also maintains a close partnership with universities in Germany and that he hoped the three parties would cooperate in the future. The next part was to sign the contract and exchange presents.

It is said that GDUFS is the only university in the north of China that maintains long-term and close partnerships with members of the EU. And this cooperation with University of Szczecin will focus on economic trade and education.
