The Paris Dauphine University Delegation Visits GDUFS

North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, October 23rd 2019: On the morning of October 14th, Professor Christophe Elie-Dit-Cosaque, Vice President of international affairs at the Paris Dauphine University, visited GDUFS. JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, met the guests in the VIP Hall of the Administration Building. The two sides had a discussion on how to strengthen exchanges between China and France. They also talked about the cooperation between the two universities.

 

The two sides had a pleasant meeting.

 

JIAO extended warm welcome to the guests, and he briefly introduced the historical evolution, campus situation, and administrative characteristic of GDUFS. He emphasized that GDUFS attaches great importance to international exchange and in the context of deepening globalization, the teachers and students are actively encouraged to go abroad. He pointed out that the Paris Dauphine University is quite similar to GDUFS in many ways, and this visit can be beneficial as the two sides to expand cooperation.

 

Elie-Dit-Cosaque introduced the general situations and disciplines of the Paris Dauphine University. And he expressed that the Paris Dauphine University also paid more and more attention to promoting the development of the internationalization of the university and has reached a cooperative agreement with the French Language Department of GDUFS through this visit. He said that the Paris Dauphine University has prepared for the project of the European Campus and the Asian Campus recently, and he was looking forward to a further cooperation with GDUFS. In addition, including short-term academic exchanges and student exchange programs, he hoped that the Paris Dauphine University would collaborate with GDUFS on various discipline and research projects, which can promote exchanges between teachers, students and scholars from the two universities.

 

KE Xiaohua, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange; GUO Guihang, Dean of the School of English for International Business; ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of the School of Business; and CAI Hong, Dean of the Institute for International Education, also attended the meeting.
