SUI Guangjun and H.E. Bedrich Kopecky talked with each other
SUI briefly introduced the historical evolution and the current development of GDUFS. He mentioned that the exchanges between China and Czech are more frequent with the advancement of globalization. As the most active province of China's economy, Guangdong Province builds closer cooperation with the states in Czech. Therefore, the professionals who know Czech and Czech culture are badly in need. The Czech major of GDUFS was established in April 2017 and it will enroll new students this year in September. SUI hoped the ambassador can recommend some Czech experts and scholars to GDUFS to improve the communication and the cooperation between GDUFS and the universities of Czech. Meanwhile, he also hoped to invite the experts and the researchers in related fields to attend the Maritime Silk Road International Think Tank Forum annually held by Guangdong International Institute for Strategic Studies.
H.E. Bedrich Kopecky expressed his gratitude to the warm welcome and was happy about the establishment of the Czech major at GDUFS. He stated that this will promote the cooperation between China and Czech. He also hoped to develop a long-lasting cooperation in education and economy between China and Czech. Czech will meet the requirements of the cooperation, like providing teachers.
