North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, November 7th 2017: The delegation of Queensland University of Technology, led by Scott Sheppard, Vice President of Queensland University of Technology, visited GDUFS and renewed the cooperation agreement. JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, received the guests in the VIP Hall of the Administration Building and signed the cooperation agreement.

JIAO Fangtai conveyed the greetings from SUI Guangjun, General Secretary and President of GDUFS, to the guests. He reviewed the development history of the in-depth cooperation between the two universities, and the maintaining of close cooperation on exchanging visits in academic and scientific fields between the two delegations in recent years. The two universities signed an agreement on projects including exchange students, computer technology and the double degree program of the School of Accounting. He stated that the two sides had good cooperation and communication during the period of the agreement and he looked forward to renewing the agreement with the counterpart to cultivate more international and professional talents.
Scott Sheppard pointed out that under the background of globalization, the two universities should have further communication, enhance the cooperation, focus on joint training program for undergraduates and masters and master training program, and develop further academic communications and cooperation programs.
ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of the School of Business; WEI Huiliang, Vice Dean of the International College, and YI Zongyong, Deputy Division Chief of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, also attended the meeting.
