Lanterns, derived from Chinese folk craft, were used for light in ancient times. Its scarfskin is made of paper or silk. Lanterns on Mid – Autumn Festival night

First, prepare 12 red packets. Second, seal the red packets. Third, fold the middle line along the long side and short side. (All 12) Forth, fold two corners up, and fold two corners down. (All 12) Fifth, use a stapler to nail two corners together. Sixth, nail six red packets together. Seventh, make a red packet’s two corners inturned, and then nail them. Finish the six packets of the upper. And the upper half of the lantern is finished. Eighth, in the same way, finish the lower half of the lantern with the six remaining packets. Ninth, connect the upper part with the lower part, and then string a pendant in the lantern.
