Delegation from UCLan Visited GDUFS

On the morning of March 9th, Liz Bromley, Vice President of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), paid a visit to GDUFS, along with fellow UCLan staff Tim Steele and GE Jifei, and were joined by GDUFS-based UCLan teachers Alison Roberts and Matt Horn. ZHONG Weihe, President of GDUFS, welcomed the delegation in the VIP Hall of the Administration Building on the North Campus. CHEN Linhan, Vice President of GDUFS; CAI Hong, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and Wei Huiliang, Deputy Dean of the International College, attended the meeting.

 

ZHONG Weihe extended a warm welcome to the delegation. ZHONG mentioned that both China and the UK enjoy a long a history, and GDUFS has long been a reliable partner with UCLan in terms of the study of International Relations, English, Economics, Journalism and Business.

Liz Bromley said that she felt honoured to visit the university. According to her, the partnership between UCLan and GDUFS, being a part in the communication of the two countries, is of significance. GDUFS and UCLan share the same goal to provide world-class university education, and so she hoped to further the cooperation between the two universities.

 

After the meeting, the representatives from both sides exchanged gifts and took a photo together. The delegation ended their visit with a tour of GDUFS.
