Holding Women’s Day Forum: Forming Happy GDUFS with Good Proposals

On the afternoon of March 7th 2017, a “3·8 Women’s Day” female staff forum was held in the Second Conference Hall on the North Campus. President ZHONG Weihe, Deputy Party Secretary of GDUFS LI Yunming and other important representatives attended. LI Yunming presided over the symposium.

Before the beginning of the seminar, ZHONG Weihe sent flowers to the female representatives as presents and expressed sincere festival blessings. He adequately approved the crucial role female staff play and their important status at GDUFS. Also, he appreciated their dedication and contribution, and expressed a hope of building “High-quality & Characteristic GDUFS” and “Humanistic & Happy GDUFS”. ZHONG Weihe also emphasized: do not have this forum become merely formalistic. He encouraged participants to exchange ideas with each other, raise issues and solve them - facing challenges unitedly.

Female Staff Speaking Out

A Lively atmosphere pervaded the conference. Delegates spoke out freely - female staff put forward current problems and advice in terms of their lives and careers. Towards issues, mentioned by female representatives, about commute transportation, vacancy of jobs, management of free medical service, education of children, logistics service and housing, the Personnel, Logistics and Asset Management Department and other duty-bound representatives responded correspondingly.

LI Yunming pointed out: regarding problems of infrastructure, the departments concerned should not only improve service quality, but also beef up inspections. He signified that the standpoints and proposals of female staff were concerned about and great importance was attached to them. All related departments would fulfil those proposals as soon as possible, ease staff’s worries and create a humanistic and happy GDUFS.
