After the speeches, President Zhong Weihe, President Jitian Meixifu and Presient Zhang Jiguo signed the Agreement of the Normalization of Campus Asia, which will greatly facilitate the communication and cooperation of the three countries. It also means more and more students will join in this program. After the signing ceremony, the presidents exchanged gifts. And they awarded 30 graduates diplomas. Professor Li Yuanfang of Dongseo University, leader of Campus Asia, demonstrated the achievements of this program. He said that Campus Asia had gained great attention from the three governments. Three graduate representatives also made reports showcasing their gains and progress in this program. They also said they had learnt a lot, not only languages but also different cultures and customs. What’s more, they could better understand the differences among the three countries by studying and living with students from different countries.

During a short break, we interviewed Wang Yuling, a student of GDUFS and a part of Campus Asia. Her major was Japanese. She had studied and worked in Japan. She told us that the pressure of study was hard because of the short time span of study and large quantity of knowledge required to learn. Also, she expressed that Japanese culture and Chinese culture had much in common, and students had similarities in their characteristics. So, it was not that difficult to understand each other. She had worked in a video game company, where her job was helping to generalize games. She believed that these experiences could be a big help for her development in the future.

Campus Asia was established to cultivate elites who learn the three cultures well. With the improvement of this program, more excellent students joining into it, the communication and cooperation among the three countries can make a bigger stride in the future.
