Conference about Service Outsourcing Industry

On October 23rd, the “Guangdong Service Outsourcing Talent Training and Development Conference”, which was sponsored by the Service Trade and Trade Services Bureau of the Guangdong Commerce Department and organized by the Research Institute of International Services Outsourcing, as well as the International Service Outsourcing Industry Promotion and Development Council in Guangdong Province, was held successfully at the International Meeting Hall on the north campus of GDUFS.

Many VIPs attended this meeting, including YANG Aiming, Vice President; BI Huiyang, Director of the Service Trade and Trade Services Bureau of the Guangdong CommerceDepartment; LIN Xiaoping, Deputy Director (Researcher); LIN Jishuang, Dean of the Research Institute of International Services Outsourcing; SUN Bo, Deputy Dean, and CHEN He, Deputy Dean. Besides, there were some other distinguished guests who attended this conference, such as leaders who were in charge of service outsourcing from the business systems of different levels in Guangdong Province, representatives from Services Outsourcing companies, service outsourcing industry associations and service outsourcing training institutions.

YANG Aiming expressed warm welcome to all the guests, and he described to the attendees our achievements in service outsourcing made by the Research Institute of International Services Outsourcing. Since its foundation in 2009, the Research Institute of International Services Outsourcing has received much attention and support from GDUFS and leaders from business systems of different levels. Now, it has achieved significant achievements in government decision consulting, talent training and scientific research.

BI Huiyang emphasized that the keynote of the conference was to carry out an idea that was put forwardby the State Council, which encouraged us to continue to promote the development of service outsourcing industry. In terms of the personnel training and development of service outsourcing in Guangdong, he focused on the current situation, main measures, achievements, existing problems and the working plan forthe future.

Several people delivered many speeches on this topic. QI Haitao, Chief Executive Officer of Devott Industry Research Institute, gave a speech about the service outsourcing in this new stage and the talent reset; LIN Jishuang analyzed the talent knowledge and ability required in the service outsourcing of Guangdong; LI Yingao talked about the cooperation between the university and enterprise to cultivate in the service outsourcing industry the talent who could not only bring forth new ideas, but also start their own businesses. Leaders of Guangzhou and Shenzhen also introduced separately the general situation of service outsourcing talents’ training in these two cities.

The meeting concluded with the warm applause of all attendees.
