Guangdong’s Leadership Building Workshop from Yale University Opens at GDUFS

    On the morning of May 13th,the Guangdong Leadership Building Workshop of Yale University opened at the MBAcenter on the GDUFS north campus. Deputy Secretary of the Organization

    Department of the Provincial Party Committee ZHANG Hui, Secretary of PartyCommittee of GDUFS SUI Guangjun and GDUFS President ZHONG Weihe, together withother officials of the management layer attended the ceremony.

    ZHANG Hui expressed his warm welcome to all the members attending the workshop and presented his thanks to GDUFS faculty for providing such excellent service. He pointed out that the Provincial Committee gives prominence to overseas training and hopes that it will pave the way for wider cooperation between Guangdong and developed countries so as to upgrade the industry and expand the opening-up of Guangdong.

    He stressed that the reasons why the workshop will take place at Yale University in the United States of America seemed crystal clear. For one thing, Guangdong means to learn from the advanced experience of the US in terms of public management in an effort to strengthen the capacity of its management layers through comprehensively advancing its economic restructuring. For another, Guangdong strives to be more open to the outside world and upgrade its industry base.

    Later, CHEN Weidong, monitor of the workshop and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Commission for Descipline Inspection, gave an address on behalf of all the trainees. He promised to be devoted to the workshop, learn things with all his heart and make the best of the workshop.
