Students from School of Finance of GDUFS won the Grand Championship of the ACCA Job Hunting Competition

Sept.12th-- The China Grand Final 2013 of the ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Job Hunting Competition was held during the summer vacation in Shanghai. 8 teams standing out from more than 400 teams from colleges and universities all around China participated in the competition. After fierce competition, Fu Hongpeng, Yang Xue, Lin Dongyang and Huang Junpeng from School of Finance of GDUFS won the Grand Championship of the Competition due to their excellent performance, while the delegations from Jinan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics ranked second and third separately.

 

 

Four students from GUDFS won the Grand Championship of the Competition

 

This year, all the contestants, divided into several groups, were required to draw a business plan to a mock business case which was exclusively provided by China Europe International Business School in the competition and elaborate the plan within the given time. The delegations were requested to make an analysis about the strategies, management practices, and financial data of Wuliangye Group Co., Ltd and Kweichow Moutai Group and make an evaluation about their investment value. The competition aimed at examining the contestants' ability to deliver a speech, logic analysis, business awareness, expertise and teamwork spirit.

 

The competition invited the senior officials from Ernst&Young, KPMG, Deloitte&Touche, Price Waterhouse Coopers, China Europe International Business School, Continental and Michael Page to be the judges. They made comments on the contestants' performance and spoke highly of their professional quality and teamwork spirit.
