The four repertoires performed are all adapted from works of famous American and British dramatists, they are, Volpone by Ben Jonson, Mrs. Warren's Profession by George Bernard Shaw, The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh and All My Sons by Arthur Miller.

Shakespeare once said that the entire world is a stage, and all the men and women are merely players. All the actors and actress in our university are no ordinary performers in that they fleshed out the figures. The first performance was Ben Jonson's Volpone. The actress who played Mrs. Robinson nearly made use of every inch of her body to perform that her "twisting" limbs and neurotic and exaggerated facial expressions to portray the scheming moneygrubber-style figure and gave a deep impression on spectators

Then, the second drama Mrs. Warren's Profession by George Bernard Shaw began. During the performance, spectators are greatly attracted by Mrs. Warren's depression, anger, her indifference and her daughter Vivie's sorrow and hopelessness, which demonstrated the actors' wonderful performance. When the performance was over, the audience burst into applause.

The third play, The Pillowman, was widely acclaimed with the very complicated and delicate setting. This play made skillful use of pros and scenes in a successful way that helped create a scaring atmosphere.

The last play of the drama All My Sons was finally unveiled. "IF I can't protect my business, how can I call myself a business man? No one can be a decent man in an indecent time!" This was the line of the hero Joe who defended himself for his evil behavior which was a microcosm of the oriental society without humanity.

Noticeably, the English Drama Night attracted several media coverage, including Guangzhou TV Station, Information Times, Yangcheng Evening News etc. Wang Bin pointed out that the love and understanding of Faculty of English Language and Culture for English dramas was completely expressed throughout the performance of arts and  we expected much more cooperation between GDUFS and Guangzhou Opera House which would bring more entertainment of high art and university culture to the whole society.
