Scholars From the University of Central Lancashire Paid a Visit to GDUFS

March 29th桪r. Peter J Sewell, Senior Instructor and Doctor of Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in Britain, paid an official visit to GDUFS. Vice Secretary of the School Party Committee Lu Jinghui welcomed our honored guest and attended an academic discussion held by GDUFS?Student Career Center.
Xu Changbin, Deputy Director of the GDUFS Student Career Center, said he was inspired by Chen Hongxia抯 feedback on his current visit to UCLAN. Mr. Chen is the Vice Minister of the Party Propaganda Department at GDUFS, and he believes that this important visit will produce a successful international academic exchange.

Mr. Lu introduced the history of GDUFS as well as the school抯 current projects. He also shared the students?career prospects and expressed his aspiration to aid GDUFS in fostering an even stronger international partnership with UCLAN. Dr. Sewell echoed the sentiment. Mr. Lu also participated in the academic seminar which discussed ways to utilize a career simulation system called CareerEDGE created by Dr. Sewell.

Zhao Ye, Director of the Student Career Center, along with other relevant staff conducted a heated discussion with Dr. Sewell on ways to help students attain employment after graduation and upgrade their own competencies. Mr. Zhao also stated that with the ever-accelerating pace of our process of internalization, The Student Career Center is also determined to seize every possible opportunity to cooperate with other universities to make us more competitive in helping students find a satisfying career after leaving our campus.
