Dec 19th--The Dean of Macao Polytechnic Institute, Li Xiangyu, along with a delegation revisited GDUFS to discuss matters related to the cooperation between our schools. President Zhong Weihe and the other school leaders extended a warm welcome to the guests at the Administration Building on the north campus.
At the Meeting
President Zhong expressed his thanks to Macao Polytechnic Institute for their support of Portuguese education at GDUFS. He also pointed out that both schools are working to develop their own subject leaders while maintaining the intention to deepen interscholastic cooperation. He noted that our school’s Interpreting and Translation Studies are more advanced than others and shared his willingness to help Macao Polytechnic Institute.
President Zhong donating books to Macao Polytechnic Institute
Macao Polytechnic Institute gave a lot of original Portuguese-written books to our school at the last meeting in Macao. In order to show our gratitude, President Zhong donated books written by the teachers from the School of Interpreting and Translation Studies to them. Mr Li replied with a smile"We share our resources by donating books. "and gave souvenirs with Macao Polytechnic Institute's school motto to our school.
