Sui Guangjun Meet with the Director of Sapporo University

Dec. 3rd -On Nov. 23rd, Misaki Sato Toshio, the Director of Sapporo University, led a delegation to visit GDUFS. GDUFS Party Secretary Sui Guangjun and GDUFS Vice President Fang Fanquan conducted a friendly meeting with the guests from Japan.

At the start of the meeting, Sui extended a warm welcome to Misaki SatoToshio抯 second visit to GDUFS and showed great hopes for developing a long-lasting relationship between the two universities. Then, Sui gave a brief introduction of the recent development and the main achievements of GDUFS.
In response, Misaki Sato Toshio conveyed his thanks for the warm reception from our university. He noted that the Confucius Institute of Sapporo University has worked the way we were hoping in terms of promoting Chinese culture and has thus become an important window to popularizing Chinese language teaching as well as introducing Chinese culture in Hokkaido, Japan. He also stressed that Sapporo University has always treasured their profound friendship with GDUFS, and they share in the great mission of spreading Chinese culture.
Two sides exchanging gifts
The board meeting summarized and reviewed the development of the Confucius Institute in 2012, made mid- and long-term development plans, and explored problems such as how to strengthen communication between teachers and students.
