Some Thoughts about This Year

I would never have imagined that the year 2013 could slip by so quickly and quietly. It seems that throughout this whole year, all I have done is getting prepared for two examinations. However, although I believe "busy" might be the best word to characterize my second year in GDUFS, I really learned something that I have never understood for the past 23 years.
Rainbow---a sign of hope for tomorrow
During the summer vacation, I did a review of what I had done in the first semester of the year and found that I had wasted much more time than needed in enjoying myself with feasting and other kinds of entertainment. So I determined to work hard, study hard and, of course, enjoy my life in an appropriate way. And on September 3rd when I came back to school, I hurried to an interview and then hurried back to school to record the thesis oral defense of the students from MTI. Although I felt really weary at that time, I believed this kind of lifestyle was what I wanted and was quite rewarding because I could identify the priorities among multiple tasks and learn how to strike a balance between my part-time job and academic study. Then after taking my CATTI examination, I began to devote myself to the academic research program led by my tutor and got numerous rewards from the process.
Throughout the whole semester, I have gradually gotten to know how to alternate work with rest, so I would usually go out to visit some places of interest, such as Xiaozhou Village, Sacred Heart Cathedral and Shameen, in Guangdong Province with my roommates on weekends. Since the New Year is just around the corner, I think I'd better make plans and send my best wishes to my friends for the coming year. No matter what will happen in this coming year, I will stick firmly to my dreams and spare no effort to make them come true.
