It's about travel, about an encounter, about school, about family, about growing up, about love, and most importantly, about two girls, Cherry and Noon. This is the touching Thai movie, Dear Galileo.

At the beginning, Noon breaks up with her boyfriend. Cherry gets caught using her teacher's studio without permission and fails to receive her Bachelor's Degree. In an attempt to move on and leave behind all their mistakes, Cherry and Noon set off and go to Europe. They take on all kinds of odd jobs during their trip, like serving dinner at a Thai food restaurant, and helping in the kitchen. They live in cheap hotels, eat one meal a day, and jump the bus. They visit all kinds of world-renoun tourist spots like Big Ben, the EiffelTower, and Stonehenge. They meet all kinds of people including a mean host, an unkind pharmacist, a greedy restaurant boss, a lonely but kind-hearted old lady, a hospitable Chief, and some artists.

During their three months on the road, the two best friends Cherry and Noon share much laughter and tears. They play tricks on people together and they lose face in public. They also have arguments, fights, misunderstandings, and a 'cold war'. Cherry is stubborn, lazy at housework, and won't admit her mistakes; Noon is dependent and too obsessed with her failure in love. Nevertheless, even in the fighting, they promise each other that no fight should last till another day.

In the end, due to Cherry's misjudgment Noon is repatriated back to Thailand and Cherry is left alone to continue her journey. Alone in Venice on Christmas day, Cherry, stubborn and tough as she is, breaks down during a camera taping. With tears pouring down she says, "We promised to go on the journey together but I ruined it. It is all my fault. Noon, I'm so sorry, sorry, sorry..." In response, she receives a message from Noon, "Do you miss home?" Cherry wastes no time but directly flies back home to be reunited with her friend.

While growing up, we come across all kinds of problems and setbacks. We may dump someone, or get dumped by someone. We may have problems in school and mess up with our studies, and so on. Luckily, we still have those who are behind us, always ready to forgive us and even accompany us as we set out on an unknown journey without a second thought. My dear friends, let's leave all our troubles behind and set off.
