The Alumni Fund of the School of Legal Studies Gets Donations from Alumni

On August 27th, CHEN Weijiang, a graduate majoring in Law in grade 1996, and the Guangzhou-Foshan Alumni Branch of Alumni Association of School of Legal Studies, donated 100,000 RMB and 50,000 RMB respectively to GDUFS. Vice President SHI Youqi represented the Alma Mater receiving the donation. The teaching representatives from the School of Legal Studies, representatives from the Guangzhou-Foshan Alumni Branch of Alumni Association of School of Legal Studies, and relevant people in charge in GDUFS were also present.

At the donation ceremony, SHI Youqi reviewed the development process of GDUFS over the last 50 years and introduced the achievements in recent years. He delivered his gratitude to the alumni for what they have done for GDUFS and the hope that the graduate can go back home when free. SHI also wished all the alumni a better future at the ceremony.

Alumni CHEN Weijiang, HUANG Guigong and ZHAI Caijuan shared their unforgettable experiences at GDUFS and their work experience, showing their sincere appreciation to GDUFS for the well-rounded development it offered them. They indicated that the donation is to support the construction and maintenance of the School History Museum of the School of Legal Studies, Students’ Innovation and Venture Office as well as the Culture Corridor.

Previous leaders of the School of Legal Studies: LIU Yiting, WU Xingguang and CAI Zhenshun looked back the history of the school. The incumbent leaders LI Hemin and LIN Maohui expressed their expectations to the alumni, hoping these excellent alumni make every effort to help graduates find employment, share useful experiences and donate money for schools.
