Delegation of EM Normandie Business School Visits GDUFS

On September 24, a delegation led by Elian Pilvin, the President of EM Normandie Business School, France, visited Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS). President Yan Xiangbin received the guests at the VIP Hall of the Administrative Building at the Baiyun Mountain Campus. Both sides shared insights on collaborative education and academic exchanges.

Highlights from the Meeting

President Yan highlighted GDUFS’s unique academic character, discipline development, and internationalization efforts. He noted that as a prestigious foreign language institution nationwide and a high-level university in Guangdong Province, we have successfully trained a substantial number of professionals in foreign languages and international trade over the past six decades. China and France have a long history of cooperation and have established deep friendship. GDUFS highly values the cooperative relationship with EM Normandie Business School and hopes to strengthen comprehensive cooperation in talent cultivation, faculty development, and scientific research through project cooperation as a starting point, contributing to the development of both universities and cultural exchange between China and France.

President Pilvin commended GDUFS’s achievements in international development. He pointed out that EM Normandie Business School emphasizes international exchange and cooperation and has established partnerships with over 200 institutions worldwide. He expressed that he would attach great importance to the collaboration with GDUFS and hopes to use the advancement of Chinese-foreign cooperative education programs as a starting point to deepen collaboration, share quality educational resources, and jointly cultivate high-quality master’s and doctoral talents, contributing to the high-quality development of both universities and strengthening educational cooperation between China and France.

Signing of Cooperation Agreement

The meeting included officials from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and Institute of Advanced Continuing Education. Following the discussions, the two parties signed an agreement to further enhance comprehensive cooperation between the two institutions.
