They were warmly greeted by SHI Youqi, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of GDUFS, at the VIP Guest Room of the Executive Building. The Indonesian major was established in 1970 in GDUFS and was certified as a national first-class major in 2020. In addition, the Center for Indonesian Studies of GDUFS has carried out various academic exchanges and strives to become a high-level think tank for enterprises and governments. He looks forward to a strengthened future connection by working with more Indonesian universities and institutions, promoting student exchanges, faculty visits and joint research, and fostering cultural and economic exchange.

Consul General Ben Perkasa Drajat extended his gratitude for GDUFS’s dedication to cultivating excellent Indonesian major graduates and facilitating China-Indonesian communication and cooperation. China-Indonesian relations have stood the test of time, and continue to flourish in terms of economic, cultural and technological cooperation.
