Indiana State University Visits SEIB

April 22-A five-people mission visited SEIB (School of English for International Business) at GDUFS on April 19th, including Deputy Director El-Houcin Chaqua of International Development and Academic Links Office from Indiana State University and Professor Zhouming from Technology School. Vice President Guo Guihang of SEIB, Minister Wu Jianfeng of Exchange Department of International Office and Director Peng Qigui of International Programs Center of SEIB welcomed the mission.

Guo Guihang introduced GDUFS and explained the majors, the features and future plans of SEIB. He emphasized the success of the GDUFS-UQ (University of Queensland) Master project and the exchange student project with Dortmund. Furthermore, he hoped that cooperation projects can be carried out between GDUFS and Indiana State University.

Wu Junfeng introduced a model of cooperation. He said that both sides' cooperation could begin with undergraduate exchange projects and other forms of cooperation.

El-Houcin Chaqua introduced the Indiana State University and the advantages of Business, MBA and linguistics. Zhou Ming added that Indiana State University had offered many international services and he answered some questions about the courses. Both sides expected to reach a further cooperation through negotiation.

After the conference, representatives from Indiana State University learned more about SEIB and communicated with the students. They were amazed by strong ability of the students and recognized the undergraduate education of SEIB.

It was said that GDUFS will hold further negotiations with Indiana State University in order to promote communication and cooperation.
