Delegation from Thailand’s Rangsit University Visit GDUFS

         On May 28th, a delegation from Thailand’s Rangsit University(RSU) paid a visit to GDUFS meeting with representatives in the Thai Cultural Room. Those who attended the activity were the Thai representative, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration, and the head of the delegation, LUO Yiyuan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Asian Languages and Cultures, as well as teachers and students from RSU and the GDUFS Thai Studies Department.

 

At the beginning of the exchange, LIAO Yufu, the Director of the Thai Department gave a brief introduction to teachers and students from her  Department, who took part in the reception work. And, she also extended a warm welcome to the RSU delegation. Then the Thai representative briefed teachers and students present at the exchange, on the RSU Faculty of Business and Administration. She also showed her interest in furthering academic exchanges between the two universities and made it clear that GDUFS students were welcome to have either a short-term or long –term study period at RSU. On behalf of the GDUFS Thai Department, Assistant Professor LUO Yiyuan, shared  important events within the GDUFS Thai Department since its establishment and the fruitful results achieved to-date. Meanwhile she expressed her wish to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.

In the exchange with the RSU delegation, FENG Baozhen, CHI Xiaowen and LI Siqi, junior students from the GDUFS Thai Department, shared their overseas study experience in Thailand with others. And their vivid speeches and standard pronunciations were highly acclaimed.

Afterwards, the RSU delegation visited our campus in the company of our teachers and students This was RSU’s  first visit to GDUFS since both sides signed the cooperation agreement and it did advance the desire for further cooperation and exchanges.
