Introduction

 

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) is one of the prestigious universities in Canton, China which specializes in international studies and educates professionals for international business and management.

Course Introduction:

 

Principle of economics is a 54-hour core course for all students in school of English for international business, with its aim to introduce the basic principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, making students to learn basic economics knowledge and basic theories such as elasticity, production, supply and demand, fiscal and monetary policy so that to make preparation for further study.

 

 

International finance is a 54-hour core course for students of international business, with its aim to introduce the basic principle and application of international finance. In this course, students will learn basic theory and do dummy practice; In addition, students will be made to learn about the international financial and currency markets and monetary system in which domestic and multinational firms/ banks operate. Last but not the least, students will also learn about risks and opportunities faced by a corporation/ bank as a result of operating in an international environment and how to make use of these opportunities and avoid risks,

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         Doctor/Master in Economics/ Finance from a leading overseas’ institute.

·         At least two or three-year teaching experiences or equivalent working experiences in University.

·         To teach in fluent English.

·         To identify the concepts and theory of Economics/Finance.

·         To familiarize with latest economic topics.

·         To be familiar with policies, laws and cultures integrated into the Economics/Finance.

·         To analyze world-wide economic/financial phenomenon.
