On June 18th, Watanabe Ryo, the Director of the Bureau of Affairs of the Japanese Economic News Center visited GDUFS accompanied by 4 companions. The Vice President of GDUFS, FANG Fanquan, met the guests at the VIP hall on the North Campus. WU Junfeng, the Vice Director of the International Department, and ZHANG Zhigang, Director of the Faculty of Eastern Languages and Literaturealso attended the meeting.
It is known that, from June 16th, Watanabe Ryo worked as the Director of the Nihon Keidanren. The purpose of his visit was to express gratitude for the GDUFS exchange student’s project as well as exchange ideas related to the terms of future communications collaboration projects.
Watanabe Ryo and FANG Fanquan expressed their own opinions respectively. Additionally, GDUFS V.P. FANG Fanquan introduced the current cooperation project offered via GDUFS. “The focus of this cooperation project is Environmental Protection Policies and International Talent Cultivation” he suggested. Mr. Watanabe was quite open about GDUFS’s talent cultivation mode and praised the international views of Chinese students.
Then, Watanabe Ryo and FANG Fanquan exchanged presents expressing the willingness of future cooperation.

Japanese Economic News Center invited 2 students of GDUFS to visit Japan from August 3rd to 7th in 2015. Through this visit and discussions, they can acquire the experience of working with Japanese enterprises and commune in terms of Environmental Protection Policies and International Talent Cultivation. GDUFS intends to select CHEN Lixuan and WANG Jiefen to attend this exchange activity.
