From November 23rd to December 2nd, SUI Guangjun, Party Secretary and Deputy Dean of Guangdong Institute for International Strategies at GDUFS, led a panel to India, Nepal and Bangladesh for special research concerning several issues in the South Asia region: the situation and development in the South Asia region, the deepening of the cooperation between BRICS, the joining of national development strategies, the construction of the economic corridor in India, China, Bangladesh and Myanmar and so on. The delegation members also included ZHOU Fangyin, Director of Surrounding Strategies Research Center of Guangdong Institute for International Strategies at GDUFS; LI Na, Cadre of Policy Division of Ministry of Foreign affairs, and PENG Keming from Guangdong Institute for International Strategies.

The research activities were based on the visits to the Think-Tan of key universities and government agencies in India, Nepal and Bangladesh, during which the delegation members met with the local business people and outstanding Chinese business leaders, and exchanged their opinions about the current situation and prospect about the investment in China, India, Nepal and Bangladesh, and the expansion of the collaboration between Think-Tan.

From November 24th to November 25th, the delegation was in India and paid visits to the Indian Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, the India-China Research Institute, the Chinese Embassy in India, Nehru University, and Vivekananda International Foundation. On the morning of November 27th, the delegation had a meeting with Chinese companies in Bombay. On the afternoon of November 27th, the delegation met with Suresh Deora, Chairman of the India-China Chamber of Commerce.
