The Forum of Deans of Business Schools at Home and Abroad Discussed Education Innovation

In the afternoon of December 2nd, the Forum of Deans of Business Schools at Home and Abroad was held at GDUFS. With the theme of One Belt Road One and innovative development of Business Schools, the deans and representatives from Arizona State University, Northumbria University, The University of Queensland, St. Thomas University in Chile, domestic universities of foreign language studies and more than 20 well-known universities in Guangdong Province, shared education innovation in their school and conducted a heated discussion.

 

JIAO Fangtai delivered a speech

 

JIAO Fangtai, the Vice President of GDUFS mentioned in his speech that the Business School in GDUFS has a 34-year history and made remarkable achievements in discipline building, scientific research, international exchanges, and other aspects. In 2015, the Business School in GDUFS received AMBA international certification, being the 26th in the mainland, the 225th on the globe to receive AMBA international certification. The Business School in our university also promoted the internationalization, and has established communication and cooperation relationships with 39 foreign Business Schools. The Business School in GDUFS takes “cultivating international high-end business talent” as its mission, and is making big strides to achieve the goal of “becoming a high-level Business School with international characteristics”. He hoped that this forum could serve as a platform for the deans of Business Schools to communicate and exchange with each other, put forward good ideas and achieve common development.
